Tilbage til Fremtiden med Rumpistol
Tag dine børn med på en tidsrejse igennem 100 års elektronisk musik, når den elektroniske musiker og komponist Rumpistol inviterer til klanglig historietime og musikalsk legestue. Rumpistol introducerer et publikums-involverende musikforedrag bestående af alt lige fra George Antheil’s Ballet Mécanique (1924) over Kid Baltan & Tom Dissevelts Song From The Second Moon (1957), til synthesizermusik med Kraftwerk og Jean-Michel Jarre i 70’erne og videre frem til i dag.
Gennem den musikalske tidsrejse bliver børnene introduceret til elektronisk musik som kredser om temaer som teknologi, rumfart, tidsrejse, robotter og meget andet.
I et publikums-deltagende format bliver man bl.a. introduceret til synthesizeren, thereminen, kassettebåndet og vinylpladen, som alt sammen har været med til at udvikle og udbrede den elektroniske musik.
I et sjovt og engagerende show får Rumpistol skabt en forståelse af fortidens og nutidens teknologiske landvindinger, samt givet børnene en mulighed for selv at spille med.
Spilletider: Koncerten kan opleves lørdag kl. 12.30
Billetter: Koncerten er en del af BIG BANG og en billet gælder til en hel festivaldag. I infoboden veksler i billetkøbet til et armbånd og så er i klar til at gå på opdagelse i hele festivalprogrammet, da der er fri adgang til alle aktiviteter og forestillinger, hvor der er plads.
Alder: Målrettet børn fra 5 år og opefter.

BIG BANG er en international familiefestival med fokus på musik og lyd. Vi fylder Amagers Musiktorv og husene omkring med fantastiske musikforestillinger, skøre installationer, lydeksperimenter, vidunderlige koncerter, workshops, kreativt værksted og ægte festivalhygge!
Forestillingerne foregår i Amager Bio, BETA, Teater ZeBU, og Børnekulturhus Ama’r, som alle ligger i forbindelse med festivalpladsen, hvor der vil være aktiviteter og koncerter. Til de indendørs forestillinger, kan I med fordel booke en plads i infoboden når I ankommer, da der vil være enkelte forestillinger med begrænset kapacitet. Snacks og drikkevarer kan købes på pladsen, men I er også velkomne til at medbringe jeres eget.

Join us for a time travel through 100 years of electronic music when electronic musician and composer Rumpistol invites you to a sonic history lesson and musical playroom. Rumpistol introduces an audience-involving music lecture consisting of everything from George Antheil’s Ballet Mécanique (1924) to Kid Baltan & Tom Dissevelt’s Song From The Second Moon (1957), to synthesizer music with Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre in the 70s and on to the present day.
Through the musical journey, children are introduced to electronic music that revolves around themes such as technology, space travel, time travel, robots and much more.
In an audience-participating format, you are introduced to, among other things, the synthesizer, the theremin, the cassette tape and the vinyl record, all of which have helped to develop and spread electronic music.
In a fun and engaging show, Rumpistol creates an understanding of past and present technological achievements, as well as giving children the opportunity to play along themselves.
Performance times: The concert takes place Saturday at 12.30 - notice that there will be quite a lot of spoken danish in this performance, but also lots of cool music
Tickets: The concert is part of BIG BANG festival and a ticket is valid for an entire festival day. At the info booth, exchange your ticket for a wristband and you are ready to explore the entire festival program, as there is free access to all activities and performances where there is space.

What kind of festival?
BIG BANG is an international family festival with a focus on music and sound. We fill Amager's Musiktorv and the surrounding buildings with fantastic music performances, crazy installations, sound experiments, wonderful concerts, workshops, creative workshops and real festival fun!
The performances take place in Amager Bio, BETA, Teater ZeBU, and Børnekulturhus Ama'r, all of which are located in connection with the festival site, where there will be activities and concerts. For the indoor performances, it is a good idea to book a seat at the information booth when you arrive, as there will be some performances with limited capacity. Snacks and drinks can be purchased at the venue, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
